Permeance (2021)
This work uses a linear narrative format to follow a ghostly subject and its experience of navigating the landscape and the passage of time. The two outside images are meant to be two distinctive periods in time, and the middle image is meant to represent a transitional period (or the passage of time) between the two. It also discusses the contemporary idea of the life and death of a forest, with one setting densely-forested and the other side a vast cut block.
Triptych. Shot on Velvia 50 120 film.
